Information and help

What are the costs of running vocabularies? Prices for RVs vary. See set books for more information. What are the costs of the programs? For Greek, the full versions are available for institutions at £75 for each of the two sets (GCSE and AS), and the school can distribute unlimited copies on their site only. The price for an individual student, buying privately, is £20. The Latin programs are available for institutions at £60 for each of the two sets (GCSE and AS), and for this amount the school can distribute unlimited copies on their site only. The price for an individual student, buying privately, is £20. Prices are correct as of December 2014. Please contact me for further information. What is the difference between a site licence and a student licence for your programs? In each case you get the full suite of programs. The only difference is the number of computers you can use the programs on at any time. For a site licence, the programs can be used on any number of computers on the same site. A student licence allows only one computer to be used. How do I make an order? I do not operate an on-line shop as I prefer to deal with you directly. Use the form and I will reply as soon as possible. Tell me what you want and supply your (eg school) address for the invoice. I will fulfil the order as soon as possible, programs by CD, running vocabularies by e-mail. We cannot accept orders by telephone or post at this time. How do I install the programs? I send the programs to you on a CD, because I know many schools block executable files attached to e-mails. Copy the contents from the disc to the destination drive where you want the programs to go. These need to be Windows compatible. Click on the installer, and the rest is automatic. We have sample programs for you to try. Detailed installation instructions for the demos can be found here. Can I use your products on a tablet or mobile phone? The running vocabularies are in pdf format, so any device which has pdf reader software available should work. A larger screen is better. Try our samples first to check they work for you. The programs currently only run on a Windows pc. We have no plans at present for creating apps for mobile devices.
Do you do tutoring in Latin or Greek? If you live near Ipswich, Suffolk, England, this could be possible. I have also given tutorials via Skype with success. Please complete my enquiry form if you are interested. Is there a mobile friendly version of this site? Yes, there is. However, you can only use the contact form on the full site, using a computer or tablet. Are you doing a running vocabulary for...? If there is something you think I should write a running vocabulary for, ask. I will consider any requests, and work may already be under way on the item you need, or I may have done it in previously. Look at the news page for more information.
